Sea Explorer Scouts

Trinity Church sponsors an Explorer Post of Sea Scouts, Ship 5001. Members of Ship 5001 have included various young people from Trinity Church, their friends, and the several adults who have led the group. Currently, the Ship 5001 is led by high school teachers in O’Fallon (MO), with supervision by two long-time leaders from Trinity. The Explorer Post cares for 18 sailboats, which belong to the church and which are kept at a marina on the Mississippi River near Portage des Sioux. Periodically, sailing lessons and outings are organized for Trinity Church youth, whether or not they belong to the explorer post.
