Bible Study
After a long summer break,
Wednesday Morning Bible Study is back!
Join us on Wednesdays days in the
St. Hilda Room from 10 - 11:15 AM.
By popular request, we will be studying The Apocrypha, books such as Tobit, Judith, Maccabees, and Ecclesiasticus (Sirach). In Bibles produced for the Roman Catholic Church-- New American Bible, Jerusalem Bible), the books are included
as part of the Old Testament (Hebrew Scripture) In other
(Protestant) translations--RSV, NRSV, REV, "with Apocrypha" -- these books are found in a separate section, bound between the Old and New Testaments.
Everyone is welcome, from Biblical scholars to those who've never studied the Bible before. Come one! Come all!
